History A short Introduction

Roshan Nepal Memorial Foundation was established in memory of our beloved Roshan Nepal, to fulfill his philanthropic dreams.

Born June 18, 1984 to parents Chhavi Lal Nepal and Savitri Nepal in Butwal, Rupandehi, Nepal, Roshan was a brilliant student, an obedient son, a dearly brother, a very lovable and a helpful friend. After graduating from his high school, he was accepted by one of the pioneer Engineering Institutes (IOE, Kathmandu) for Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering. He started working as a Water Resources Engineer for Rural Village Water Resources Management Project immediately after graduating from IOE and served his nation and people continuously for more than 3 years. He headed to the United States in August 2010 to pursue his Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering and graduated on May 2012 from Lamar University, Beaumont, Texas. Roshan was working as a civil engineer at Ganem and Kelly Inc., Point Comfort, TX, USA.

Roshan passed away in a fatal car crash on Sunday, November 10, 2013 on his way back from Corpus Christi to his place, Port Lavaca, TX, USA.

Roshan had always been a great person throughout his life. He had many dreams with willingness to serve his nation and people. Though he left without getting a chance to fulfill his dreams, this foundation will be working towards achieving them by providing scholarships and grants to deserving students like him to fulfill their dreams and secure their bright futures.
